Paris Saint-Germain officially won tickets to the Champions League final after defeating Arsenal 2-1 in the second leg of the semi-final, thereby winning the final 3-1. The next opponent of PSG will be Inter Milan, the team overcame Barcelona with a spectacular final score 7-6.
After the match, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma of PSG shared with Prime Video about the change in the team’s spirit after Kylian Mbappe left.
He acknowledged that despite remembering the French striker, however, the player’s departure has helped the team now take the top on the Ligue 1 rankings to become more cohesive.
“The spirit has changed, we are a much more team. We play for each other. We remember Kylian, he is one of the best players in the world and I wish him all the best because he is a great friend,” said Gianluigi Donnarumma.
He also said that PSG is doing well in coordinating and working together: “The whole team is united, we are doing well together. We (Italy) won the European championship like this, which makes a difference for every team.”
Paris Saint-Germain is on the momentum of excellent competition and with the current solidarity, Luis Enrique’s teachers and students will enter the Champions League final with high confidence and determination to bring the prestigious trophy for the first time in the club history.
As for Arsenal, the army of coach Mikel Arteta will have to make more efforts next year.
