Coach Cristiano Roland summoned 30 U16 Vietnam players to attend the U16 CFA Team China 2025

Coach Cristiano Roland announced the list of 30 U16 Vietnam players in the first military festival of 2025. This is an important preparation for the U16 International CFA Team China 2025, which will take place from May 28 to 1/6 in Hohhot, Noi Mong, China.

This tournament not only helps the team to review forces but also an opportunity for young players to have the opportunity to rub and learn from strong opponents like Australia, Saudi Arabia and Chinese hosts.

According to coach Roland, the main goal of the tournament is to help the U16 Vietnam team prepare for the U17 Asian qualifiers 2026, so the excellent and potential players are summoned.

The prominent faces on the list of summoning include goalkeeper Ly Xuan Hoa, the best player of the U15 National Championship 2024, striker Nguyen Van Duong – the top scorer and the best player in this tournament, and midfielder Chu Ngoc Luc, who participated in the U17 Vietnam squad at the U17 Asian Cup 2025.

The U16 Vietnam team will start training at the Vietnam Young Football Training Center from 10/5. The players will maintain training here before leaving to China on May 23 to attend the tournament.

This is a valuable opportunity for young players not only to accumulate international competition experience but also help them improve their expertise when confronting strong teams in the region.
